State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident April 17 on Hickory Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a couple was allegedly involved in an assault. Both were cited for harassment as a result.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment and disorderly conduct Tuesday at the Economy Inn in Lawrence Township. During the incident, a Clearfield couple was engaged in a domestic dispute. They were located by officers while walking down South Second Street and still yelling. Upon investigation, police found the male allegedly had unwanted physical contact with the female when he attempted to keep her from leaving. Police provided the female with a courtesy transport and the male was advised to return to the Economy Inn. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- On Tuesday police conducted a warrant service on Samuel Trump of Clearfield at Lawrence Park Village. Trump had failed to appear for court. While attempting to take him into custody, Trump allegedly fled out of a window and a minor foot pursuit ensued behind LPV. Trump was taken into custody and housed in county jail. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police conducted a traffic stop/warrant service Tuesday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield. Officers located a wanted male while he was operating a vehicle. When police made contact, he was taken into custody; he was able to resolve three warrants. He was later released without issue.
