Russell J. Kalp, 72, of DuBois on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his home.
Born Aug. 23, 1945 in Ruffs Dale, Pa., he was the son of the late Russell I. and Naomi R. (Cole) Kalp.
On June 19, 1982, he married Marian “Toots” (Dixon) Kalp. She survives.
He retired from Crown Resorts maintenance department after more than 20 years of services. Prior to that, he had worked for Latrobe Standard Steel for more than 10 years.
He was a member of the Reynoldsville and Fishers of Men Bass Clubs. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by two children, Kelly Kalp of Anchorage, Alaska, and Rusty Kalp of Ruffs Dale, Pa.; two sisters, Connie and Thelma; and a brother-in-law, Joe Dixon (Rita) of Sabula.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Kenneth Sherwood officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
