CLEARFIELD – Justin Worley, deputy fire chief, Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department, recently came to the rescue of several CNB Bank employees.
The employees were stranded overnight on Interstate 80 eastbound. I-80 was closed for more than seven hours due to multi-vehicle collisions and black ice on April 4,
CNB Bank employees appreciated Worley’s “generosity and kind-heartedness.” As a result, the bank made a donation to the fire department.
According to bank officials, through social media posts, Worley determined the location of two vehicles that were without gas and heat on a very cold night.
Although he was not on duty for this incident, Worley volunteered to deliver gas to both cars in the middle of the night.

“These six women were among hundreds of people stranded that night. Thanks to Worley, they were able to stay warm and eventually make it home safely,” bank officials say.
