HYDE — The Clearfield boys track team raised their record to 4-0 on the young season by sweeping Bellefonte 88-60 and Penns Valley 86-63 on Monday afternoon at the Bison Sports Complex.
The girls remained even at 2-2 with an 85-60 win over Bellefonte and a 84-57 loss to Penns Valley.
The boys had two double overall winners in Pratan Steiner (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles), Taye Lynch (triple and high jumps).
Katrina Spencer was the lone double winner on the girls side by sweeping the hurdles. The girls also won each of the three relays (4×100, 4×400, 4×800).
Additional individual winners among the boys were Trevor Frank (100m), Logan Firanski (400m), Grady Yarger (javelin), and Brett Zattoni (pole vault). The boys 4×100 also won.
The other lone Clearfield girl to win an overall event was Kylee Mitchell in the discus.
Both squads are off until next Monday, April 17, when the have another Mountain League tri-meet, this time on the road at Bald Eagle Area against the hosts and Huntingdon.
