HYDE — The Clearfield Area High School baseball and softball teams lost out to Mother Nature again in Mountain League roade games, according to athletic director Robert Gearhart.
He announced the Lady Bison’s game against Bald Eagle Area at Milesburg has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 28, at noon.
A make-up date will be arranged later for the Bison’s trip to Martinsburg to play Central in a game that has been called off three times.
Gearhart also announced that the Bison’s twiice-postponed home league game with Bellefonte now is slated for Wednesday, May 9, at the Bison Sports Complex.
The 0-1 Bison still have four games on the docket this week, starting with their home opener against Bald Eagle Area Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
The 1-1 Lady Bison will be at home Wednesday for a non-league test against perennial District 9 champion Punxsutawney with the first pitch set for 4:30 p.m.
