Robert Scott Holt, 58, of Philipsburg died Monday, March 26, 2018 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1960, a son of Donald L. Holt, who survives of Philipsburg, and Beverly A. (Stonebraker) Holt, who preceded him in death.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg and a 1978 graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School.
He was first employed with the Arena Restaurant, formerly located within the Harbor Inn of Philipsburg. He was then employed with the Best Western hotel in Clearfield until his retirement.
He enjoyed playing checkers, visiting friends and spending time with his Dad. They enjoyed watching classic westerns together.
Also, one of his favorite pastimes when he was younger, was practicing Karate.
He is survived by a sister, Laurie Ann Holt, of Lansdale and a number of extended family members, in addition to his father, Donald.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
