Dennis J. Carrera, 75, of Brockway died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital.
Born March 25, 1943 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Willfred E. and Angela (Hervoyavich) Carrera.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War.
On Jan. 10, 1986, he married Noreen J. (Beer) Carrera. She survives.
He worked at Brockway Glass for 27 years in the maintenance department in Freehold, NJ and Brockway. He was well-known for restoring classic cars and enjoyed traveling and the outdoors.
He is survived by three children, Dennis J. Carrera Jr. and his wife, Tiffany of Greenville, Kimberly Ann Weiser and her husband, Jim of Wheatland, Pa., and Tammy Lynn Miller of Fancy Gap, Va.; a brother, Michael Carrera and his wife, Cindy of Franklin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Harold Hill officiating.
