Andrew Steve Kendrick Jr., 68, of Snow Shoe went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Sept. 16, 1949 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Andrew Steve Sr. and Josephine M. Lisik Kendrick.
On Sept. 16, 1978 at the St. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Grassflat, he wed Valerie Josephson Kendrick, who survives him in Snow Shoe, after 39 years of marriage.
Also surviving are his children, Jessica Kendrick and Jamie Kendrick and her fiancé, Allen Haff and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Aliyah and Penelope.
He was last of his generation.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Anna Kendrick and Steve and Anna Lisik.
Mr. Kendrick was a member of the Queen of Archangels Roman Catholic Chapel, Snow Shoe.
He was a graduate of the West Branch High School. He then attended Stevens Trade College, Lancaster, and graduated with a degree as a tool and die machinist.
He worked for Cerro Alloys, Bellefonte, for 38 years as a tool and die machinist. He retired from LECO Corp., Pleasant Gap, in 2015.
He was a member and captain of the Gordon Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working with wood, cross stitching and spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Queen of Archangels Roman Catholic Church, Clarence, with Father Michael Wolfe as celebrant.
