Mary Jo Harry, 65, of Clearfield died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born May 1, 1952, she was the daughter of Raymond and Thelma (Carns) Diehl.
She worked as a caseworker for the state Department of Public Welfare and retired after more than 20 years of service.
She was a 1970 graduate of the Clearfield Area High School.
On July 24, 1971 at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Clearfield, she wed Theodore “Teddy” Harry, who survives, along with two children, Alise Barr and her husband, Brian of Clearfield and Andrew Harry and his wife, Alyssa of McLean, Va.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Nathan Barr, Nolan Barr, Renee Barr, Sean Harry and Brynn Harry; a sister, Karen Wilson and her husband, Paul of Brockway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Larry and a sister, Diana.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Friday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield.
A “Celebration of Life” service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
