Theresa Marie Ponzi Puterbaugh, 39, of DuBois died Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home.
Born July 13, 1978, she was the daughter of Tom and Patti (Johnson) Ponzi. Her parents survive.
On Oct. 15, 2016, she married the love of her life, Jason Puterbaugh, in DuBois. He survives.
She was a 1996 graduate of the DuBois Area High School and a 1998 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology.
She was a hair stylist and worked at “A Style For You,” where she had many friends who loved her.
She was loved by many and a joy to all who knew her. She was very active with the DuBois Area Marching Band Boosters. She was like a mom to all her band kids and part of the band family.
She is also survived by her son, Shane Ponzi, at home; her sister, Michelle Lindholm and her husband, David of Brockway; nephews, Trevor Murray and Matthew Reasinger; niece, Salem Murray; several aunts and uncles; and her many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Ponzi, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Treasure Lake Church with Pastor Dick Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
