Mary F. Swansegar, 92, of Philipsburg died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Windy Hill Village, PSL, Philipsburg.
She was born Jan. 3, 1926, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Werba) Fetcenko, both of whom preceded her in death.
She attended the former Morris Township High School. She was employed as a seamstress with Charles Navasky & Co., Philipsburg, until her retirement in January of 1986 after 32 years of service.
She was a member of the StS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg.
She was married July 20, 1946 to George L. Swansegar, who preceded her in death Oct. 31, 1986.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Fetcenko, Margaret Salvatore, Pauline Verost and Irene Engel and three brothers, George, Thomas and Mitchell Fetcenko.
She is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Fetcenko and his wife, Elisa and Raymond Fetcenko and his wife, Barbara, all of Elyria, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated with a day and time to be announced.
