Two students were involved in a shooting during dismissal time at a high school in Birmingham, Alabama, the city school district said.
Huffman High School was placed on a brief lockdown and police were called to the scene, Birmingham City Schools said in a statement.
Students were released and police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, the statement said.
