State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment Feb. 17 on Rattlesnake Pike in Union Township. During the incident, a Julian couple was allegedly involved in a physical domestic. A known male was cited for the incident through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Feb. 23 at the Philipsburg Super Bowl in Rush Township. During the incident, a male allegedly punched a hole in the wall at the bowling alley. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Tuesday at an East Main Street residence in Big Run. During a domestic, a juvenile was allegedly involved in a physical altercation and shoved an adult female and another juvenile. He fled on foot after. The juvenile was located and charged with harassment through the district court.
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Feb. 18 on Howe Road in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry to the victim’s property and removed a pair of rawhide chaps and moccasins. Their total value was $370, state police say; the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police investigated a drug-related DUI incident Tuesday on Village Road. According to police, there was a report about a male who was passed out in the driver’s seat of a blue pick-up truck. Upon arrival, police determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Further investigation found the male was allegedly in possession of marijuana, which was in his vehicle. Police have had several recent interactions with the male who was taken into custody and to county jail for a probation violation.
Sandy Township
- On Monday an 18-year-old Trouville man was taken to DuSan Ambulance station after he was found stumbling on the roadway. When officers arrived at the station, he said that he was at a party at the Hampton Inn and asked to leave. He told police that he was beaten up by an unknown person. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Monday a DuBois woman reported that when she went to the house that her mother is living at, a 52-year-old resident pushed her after the two had an argument over her mother’s finances. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Monday a 37-year-old Reynoldsville woman reported that she left her vehicle parked at Save A Lot the prior night. When she returned to get it the next day, someone had allegedly stolen several items out of it. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a South Main Street residence for a reported domestic dispute on Monday. A 51-year-old woman told police that her 48-year-old husband had pushed her into a wall after the two engaged in an argument. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Monday a 32-year-old Grampian woman reported that while her vehicle was parked at the DuBois Mall, someone hit and damaged it.
- On Tuesday a 53-year-old DuBois woman reported that her brother who lives in Connecticut had threatened her via a voicemail message.
- On Tuesday a 30-year-old DuBois man was taken into custody, while pulled over on a traffic stop, due to an outstanding warrant.
