Richard T. Wright, 81, of Curwensville died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born July 2, 1936, a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Morgan) Wright.
Mr. Wright retired as plant manager at NARCO, Curwensville. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and was a member of Curwensville Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Leigey) Wright, to whom he was wed Dec. 1, 1956.
He’s survived by two children, Robert Wright and his wife, Kim of State College and Valerie Delp and her husband, Gary of Brockway.
He’s also survived by three grandsons, Eric Wright, Ryan Wright and his wife, Gail and Kyle Wright and his wife, Shannon and a great-granddaughter, Cameron Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, with Gary Jewart officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville Presbyterian Church, 430 Locust St., Curwensville, PA, 16833 or to the charity of one’s choice.
