Gloria Jean (Foster) Evans, 76, of Clearfield died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at Ridgeview Elder Care.
She was born July 15, 1941, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Wallace) Wilson.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Eagles. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts. She was known as being a thrift shopper; she enjoyed going to yard sales.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Willis D. “Bill” Gill; four children, April Gardner and her husband, Roland “Gus” of Houtzdale, Wendy Condon and her husband, Scott and Shannon Wisor and her husband, Brian, all of Olanta, and Frederick “Fred” Foster of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-children, Gary L. Foster of Northeast, William W. Evans and Kimberly A. (Evans) Ettaro, both of DuBois, and Richard D. Evans of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Clyde and Abbie Wallace; two husbands, Harry C. Foster Sr. and Ellis “Bill” Evans; and step-son, Harry C. Foster Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. John White officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of services.
