State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged indecent assault that occurred at a Reynoldsville Borough residence in 2014. No further information was released by state police.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between Jan. 9 and Jan. 11 on Reese Hollow Road in Worth Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw nails into the victim’s driveway and smashed his mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Feb. 15 at a North 11th Street apartment in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 31-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly grabbed and pushed the victim. He was lodged in Clearfield County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about fraud/deception that occurred Monday. According to police, a female was called by a person claiming she was going to be arrested for tax evasion. Officers called the phone number provided by the female and they are warning residents not to provide any personal information.
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred Sunday or Monday at the Edgewood Apartments in Clearfield. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a portion of the victim’s prescription medication while she was staying at the apartments.
Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Mid-State Amusement on Friday.
- On Friday a 32-year-old Reynoldsville man reported that he hit and injured a deer in the area of San Spur and Wayne roads. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
- On Saturday a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old Brockway man traveled off the roadway after hitting a patch of ice and overturning onto its side. The vehicle slid into a yard, striking a fence and a shrub. Minor injuries were reported to police.
- Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute Saturday on Circle Road. A 38-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly physically attacking and injuring his 29-year-old girlfriend.
- On Saturday a 27-year-old Clearfield man reported his vehicle was hit by another one while at By the Room Furniture; the vehicle fled the scene afterward. The other driver was later located and the situation was handled without incident.
- Police received reports about two false alarms at Red Lobster on Saturday.
- On Saturday a 26-year-old Casters Way resident reported that her 19-year-old brother was causing a disturbance outside her home after a dispute. She told police he was jumping on her vehicle. Officers handled the situation without incident.
