CLEARFIELD – The Greater Clearfield Chamber of Commerce is alerting local business owners that its staff is not behind recent bogus calls inquiring about “paid employees.”
Director Kim McCullough was recently notified that a caller has been contacting local businesses and claiming to be the “Chamber of Commerce.”
The caller is asking if the business has paid employees. McCullough says any call that is not from her staff should be reported immediately.
