Mary P. Caldwell, 88, of Curwensville died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College after a lengthy illness.
Born May 20, 1929, she was the daughter of Boyd and Mary (Rogers) Robison. Mrs. Caldwell had been a cook and waitress for the former Keystone Restaurant in Curwensville.
She had been a member of the Curwensville Alliance Church. She had also bowled in the Early Bird League at the Clearfield Lanes.
On Sept. 7, 1947 in Canton, Pa., she wed William A. Caldwell, who preceded her in death May 28, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cheryl Mullins; a young son, Ronald Caldwell; an infant son, Roger Caldwell; and three sisters, Florence Dalton, Betty Czarnacki and Esther Fike.
Surviving are five children, Becky Greslick and her husband, Tom and David Caldwell, both of Curwensville, Sandra Chelgren and her husband, Lynn and James Caldwell and his wife, Elizabeth, both of Grampian, and Robin McKee of Tennessee.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a brother, William Robison of Tampa, Fla.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
