Marian L. Hickman, 87, of DuBois died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 27, 1930 in Falls Creek, she was the daughter of the late Sara E. (Swineford) Hiner.
In 1947, she married James Kirby Hickman. They were married for 59 years until his death in 2006.
She retired from Owens Illinois after 19 years of service.
She was a life-long member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon.
She was an avid Bingo player and loved to go on camping and fishing trips in Potter County. She enjoyed going on vacations to Ocean City, Md., and gardening.
She is survived two children, Larry A. Hickman and his wife, Brenda of DuBois and Susan M. Iddings and her husband, Charlie of Reynoldsville; two brothers, Robert Kessler of Sebring, Fla., and Gary Kessler of DuBois; a sister, Roberta Fleeman of DuBois; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Hickman and two brothers, Marvin and Ronald Kessler.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Harold Hills officiating.
Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Falls Creek.
