CLEARFIELD – The paintings and art by Jody Grumblatt are on display at Lock Haven University Clearfield.
The exhibit is located on the ground floor of Founders Hall and the public is invited to view the work from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays through March 9.
Grumblatt is the president of Susquehanna River Art Center (SRACC) of Clearfield. SRACC promotes the visual arts through educational opportunities and exhibits by professional and amateur artists.
“I have always enjoyed art … it’s been part of me since I don’t remember when,” Grumblatt said.
“It is a constant work in progress, just as I am. I paint whatever takes my fancy so it’s rather eclectic, bringing me laugher and joy when I paint.”
Grumblatt opened The Liddle Gallery in 2014, which has become one of the artistic hubs in the Clearfield region.
“It is such a pleasure to be constantly surrounded by art and artists. I love teaching what I know and working with children and adults on art projects,” she said.
Each fall and spring, the gallery hosts participants from the Clearfield Community Life-long Learning Institute sponsored by Lock Haven University of Clearfield and the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging.
