Vera I. Pringle, 86, of DuBois died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Altoona, due to injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.
Born Nov. 25, 1931 in Falls Creek, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Kessler and Ethel (Pantall) Kessler Schoch.
She made her home with companion, Norman Greenawalt of DuBois.
She worked as a bottle inspector for Brockway Glass for 35 years.
She is survived by two children, Linda Moore and her husband, Earle of Treasure Lake and Samuel Stanton of Youngstown, Ohio; two sisters, Jean Polehonki of DuBois and Betty Miller of Newark, NY; four grandchildren, Alan Moore (Jill), Jason Moore, Kelly Moore Price (Joseph) and Samuel Stanton; and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, David.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with the Rev. Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
