Rose M. Tinder, 64, of Punxsutawney died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at the home of her daughter in DuBois.
Born Feb. 15, 1953 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and June (Limerick) Farrell.
On March 12, 2004, she married Robert J. Tinder. He survives.
She was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; she loved to craft and sew.
She is survived by two children, Ronnette Pittsley and her husband, Thomas of DuBois and Dawn Marie Stover and her husband, Kyle of Galeton, Pa.; four sisters, Carol Long of Curwensville, Jane (William) Huntington of Punxsutawney, Norma (Dale) Yingling of Cooks Forest and Donna Lee (Tom) Richards of Summerville; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Herbert “Pete” Farrell.
There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Big Run Volunteer Fire Department Hall.
