PHILIPSBURG – A professional trumpeter and touring/recording artist, Chiz Rider, will perform a free concert at Grace United Methodist Church, 912 E. Pine St., Philipsburg, at 9 a.m. Jan. 21.
In 2011 Rider released his ninth album titled, “Live Worship.” He is touring with a newly designed concert that incorporates a high-impact light show, along with large-screen video enhancement.
“This is a concert experience that people of all ages will thoroughly enjoy,” says a press announcement issued by the church.
“While entertaining and professionally done, its focus and goal is to glorify Christ, to present the gospel and to encourage believers.”
