J. Faylene “Faye” Youngman, 88, of Rockton died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born May 24, 1929 in Lincoln, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Frances (Keneipp) Scales.
On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Carl A. Youngman. He survives.
She was a bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Youngman Bit Services.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, where she was active with the bereavement and outreach committees.
She had also previously been involved with the Girl Scouts of America for 26 years.
She is survived by a son, John Youngman and his wife, Theresa of Traverse City, Mich.; two daughters, Jo Ann Hauck and her husband, Edward of Moon Township and Molly Rupprecht and her husband, Daniel of Allison Park; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Carr and Sue Downey and a sister, Delores Thomas.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will be in the Rockton Cemetery.
