CLEARFIELD – A 25-year-old Wallaceton woman, Tiffany Walk, is wanted for failure to appear for her preliminary hearing Jan. 3, according to District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
On Nov. 2, 2017, Officer Zachary Cowan of the Lawrence Township police filed a criminal complaint against Walk.
He charged Walk with possession of firearm prohibited, F2; firearms not to be carried without a license, F3; possession of a controlled substance, M; and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, M.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on June 12, 2017, officers received a report about a female who appeared to be running and hiding from a group of people.
Contact was made with the female who reportedly provided a false name at first. She was later identified as Walk, and it was determined there was an active warrant for her.
Walk was subsequently taken into custody, at which point her backpack was searched. Inside the backpack, Cowan allegedly located various controlled substances and drug paraphernalia as well as a handgun. It was determined that Walk is prohibited from possessing firearms.
A preliminary hearing was held Jan. 3, at which time Walk failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Walk is described as a Caucasian female standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
