ALTOONA – On Monday Sheetz, one of America’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience chains, announced a record-setting year of luck for customers.
Sheetz paid out $96,660,288 in lottery cash prizes to Pennsylvania customers in 2017.
The top winning lottery tickets in 2017 included:
- a $3 million scratch-off game sold at Sheetz store No. 149 in DuBois;
- a $2 million single draw PowerPlay ticket to a customer who picked their own numbers at Sheetz store No. 500 in Sewickley; and
- a $1 million scratch-off ticket sold at Sheetz store No. 352 in Bedford.
Additionally, Sheetz store No. 7 in Altoona sold 41,117 winning tickets in 2017, equating to an average of 112 winners per day.
Since 2012, Sheetz has paid out $457,386,530 in lottery cash prizes to customers.
Each of Sheetz’s 266 Pennsylvania locations offers customers lottery terminal-based games as well as a variety of instant lottery games 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
