William Forest Lidgett, 64, of Wallaceton went to be with the Lord on Dec. 24, 2017 at his residence.
Born July 7, 1953, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Jane Simms Lidgett.
On May 3, 1980 at the Wallaceton United Methodist Church, he wed Cheryl Knepp Lidgett, who survives at home.
Also surviving are his son, Donald Justin Lidgett of Wallaceton; his two sisters, Thelma Thompson and her husband, John of Ohio and Mary Ellen Stagner of Mechanicsburg; and a brother, Samuel Lidgett of Clearfield.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Wharton.
Mr. Lidgett was a 1972 graduate of the West Branch Area High School. He worked for Glen Gary, Bigler, for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating.
Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
