HUNTINGDON — The Clearfield Area High School girls basketball team made it a game with Huntingdon through the first half, but the Lady Bearcats outscored the Lady Bison 26-8 over the final 16 minutes for a 54-32 Mountain League win Friday night.
Alayna Ryan tallied 11 points for the Lady Bison, who tumbled to 0-2 in the league and 1-3 overall.
Huntingdon, which is off to a 3-0 start, got nine points apiece from Kynnedy Miller, Maddie Gearhart and Cat Miller.
The Lady Bison will travel to Brookville Monday for a non-league game.
Huntingdon’s junior varsity was victorious in the prelim.
