CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area United Way recently received boxes of 600 gently-used children and teen books.
The books will benefit area children who are in need.
Greg Dixon, CAUW annual campaign chair, is shown with Rachel Dixon, a senior criminal justice student at Lock Haven University.
To date, the CAUW has processed and distributed more than 5,300 books through the Reading Ripples Project.
“We would like to thank everyone who has given early-grade reading material for this project,” commented Dixon.
Any company, group or individual who wishes to make a monetary donation or host a book collection should please contact the CAUW at 814-765-6521.
