Margaret Elaine Hullihen, 76, of DuBois and formerly of Penfield, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Linda Pentz, after a lengthy illness.
Born April 27, 1941 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of John James and Stella Lavina (Patterson) Hunt.
Mrs. Hullihen was a homemaker and also had worked for Van Hullihen Trucking as a secretary.
On April 30, 1958, she wed Charles Albert Hullihen, who preceded her in death April 8, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Hullihen; a brother, James D. Hunt Sr.; and a sister, Marlene Ricketts.
Surviving are three daughters, Gale Schickling and her husband, Richard of Clearfield, Linda Pentz of DuBois and Sylvia Sherwood of Penfield.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Patterson and his wife, Joan of Kerrmoor; and a dear family friend and companion, John Potempa of DuBois.
Services for Mrs. Hullihen will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with Pastor Sara Sedrick officiating. Burial will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, Ansonville.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
