Jesse T. Schmuck, 89, of DuBois died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at the DuBois Nursing Home. He was born June 25, 1928 in Hanover, Pa.
On Dec. 12, 1970, he married Patricia Joan (Erickson) Schmuck. She preceded him in death Aug. 3, 2017.
He retired as an industrial contractor from Pennsylvania Gas Company.
He was part of the country music duo, The Country Couple, along with his wife, Patricia for 30 years.
In his later years, he was a devoted, caring and adoring father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His beloved friend and chess challenger, Charles Winkler, will miss him.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Schmuck of Winter Haven, Fla., a step-daughter, Patricia Plummer of DuBois, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
