CLEARFIELD – Novey Recycling Inc. of Clearfield surprised seven veterans on Veterans Day.
Customers were greeted with “Happy Veterans Day,” and seven customers produced a form of military identification.
These customers were rewarded with a T-shirt and a $50 gift certificate for Novey’s U-PULL-IT Auto Salvage.

“This is the seventh consecutive year that we have done something. We try to stay actively involved in the community, and it was Veterans Day,” said Operations Manager Mike Boal.
“We didn’t have any idea how many shirts and gift certificates we might end up giving out, but we are committed to it.
Boal added, “We are simply giving something back to the men and women who have defended our constitution and freedom, knowing they may lose their life by doing so.”
