State police at Punxsutawney
- State police are investigating an incident that occurred Nov. 11, during which a Big Run teen allegedly solicited the victim for explicit photographs, videos and sexual encounters. State police say the victim sent explicit material via electronic communications, and the investigation intercepted the physical encounter. State police are leaving the incident open for further investigation.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded for a male who was reportedly intoxicated on Nichols Street. Upon arrival, police located the male, and he was cited for public intoxication.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle on West Fifth Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the vehicle was unoccupied; there also wasn’t anyone around it.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred along East Locust Street. Police advised the person who was responsible of the complaint.
- Police initiated a vehicle stop after a traffic violation along South Second Street. Police found a female passenger had an active warrant through Domestic Relations. She was taken into custody and to the Clearfield County Jail on the warrant.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred on Daisy Street. Police made contact with those who were responsible, and they agreed to turn the music down.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Daisy Street. Police were able to resolve the complaint.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief, during which soda was thrown onto a vehicle.
- Police received a report about smoke inside a Clearfield Street residence.
- Police responded to the Clearfield Riverwalk, where stones had reportedly been removed and rolled down toward the river.
