State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Nov. 21-22 on Deer Creek Road in Graham Township. During the incident, a known 49-year-old man allegedly stole a pallet of hardwood from the victim’s business. Then, he fled the scene.
- A state police fire marshal unit responded to a fire Nov. 22 on North Sixth Street in Grampian Borough. According to the report, the fire damaged a two-story, wooden-framed residence. It originated in the kitchen area and the cause hasn’t been determined at this time. The homeowner wasn’t there at the time of the fire; a dog didn’t survive. No other injuries were reported to state police; damage has been estimated at $20,000.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Nov. 22 on Curtin Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, a known male allegedly threatened to harm the victim and her family. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct that occurred Nov. 23 on Deer Creek Road in Graham Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg male was allegedly under the influence of an unknown substance, became disorderly and put his head through the drywall of an upstairs bedroom. He was taken to county jail on a 48-hour detainer due to his intoxication. He will also be cited for the incident through the district court.
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Sunday in the United Methodist Church parking lot in Decatur Township. According to state police, a 19-year-old Osceola man was passed out in his car with it still running. Upon further investigation, it was found that he had allegedly been driving while under the influence of alcohol. Charges were filed through the district court as a result.
- On Saturday state police served a search warrant on South Street in Curwensville Borough. A couple was allegedly found with methamphetamine, marijuana and unidentified pills, which were packaged for sale; quarter sticks of dynamite; and an illegal firearm. State police say it was also the home of five female juveniles. Charges were filed through the district court as a result.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary/theft that occurred Saturday on Strishock Road in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly broke into a residence and stole items, including a jar of coins, Timberland boots, a chrome Oakley watch and a gray 9mm pistol case. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- On Nov. 23, state police responded to reported gunshots that were fired inside a Walnut Street residence in Rush Township. Upon arrival, state police found that a Bellefonte male and a Philipsburg female were allegedly shooting a firearm into the ceiling of the residence. Both were taken into custody and charged for the incident; both were taken to the Centre County Correction Facility to await arraignment.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police reported that charges have been filed against Michael L. Lellock of Punxsutawney. It was determined he allegedly used information for a 93-year-old victim to facilitate the purchase of a cellular phone and to establish two phone accounts. He’s been charged with identity theft and is currently in the Jefferson County Jail. State police say additional charges are forthcoming the completion of the investigation. State police were assisted by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between June 1 and Sunday at a camp along the Bennetts Valley Highway. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the camp and removed various items, including two saws, a 48-inch flat screen television, a DVD player, a six-foot ladder, a trash can and miscellaneous hand tools. Clearfield Borough
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a female who was found to be under the influence of prescription medication along South Second Street.
- Police responded to the J.G. Food Warehouse for a vehicle that was reportedly struck in the parking lot. Upon arrival, police collected information; the driver fled from the scene.
- Police received a report about a South Front Street female who fled after being informed of a mental health warrant. She was later located by police and transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police responded to a noise complaint along South Fourth Street. Police were able to resolve the situation at the scene.
- Police responded to assist emergency personnel with a psychological emergency on Milford Street.
- Dubois-based state police apprehended a female who held warrants from the Clearfield Borough Police Department. She was turned over to police and the warrants were satisfied.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of harassment that occurred along North Third Street.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a Linden Street resident. Upon arrival, police found that the male was not at home.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along Reed Street.
- Police reported that someone put nails in the driveway of a West Front Street residence.
- Police are investigating damage that occurred to several benches along the Clearfield Riverwalk. Police say that obscene words and other markings were carved into the benches that sit along West Pine Street.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a possible wanted male on South State Street. Upon arrival, police located a male who was wanted through Domestic Relations. He was taken into custody without incident; custody was then transferred to DRO.
- Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the Sheetz parking lot on North Brady Street. Upon arrival, a male told police he’d parked his vehicle and entered the store. Police say it’s believed the vehicle popped out of gear and drifted into another vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result; both vehicles were driven from the scene. Police say the drivers exchanged the necessary information.
