Mildred Collins Fulton, 98, of DuBois died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 31, 1918 in Olanta, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Gertrude H. (Hoyt) Collins.
She was a 1936 graduate of the Curwensville High School.
On June 28, 1941, she married Robert W. Fulton. Â He preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1976.
She was formerly employed at Gates Hardware in Grampian, and Sears Robuck of Indiana, Pa. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Richmond, Va., where she worked in the filing department
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DuBois, a former member of the Maple Avenue Hospital Auxiliary and the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was an avid 500 and Bridge player.
She is survived by two sons, R. Larry Fulton and his wife, Edith of Luthersburg and Randell L. Fulton and his wife, Wanda of DuBois; four grandchildren, Susan, Doug, Tammy and Ryan; one step grandchild, Logan; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert D. Collins and a granddaughter, Carlee Ann Fulton.
There will be no public visitation and a private funeral service will be held from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Rick Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
