Francis Patrick Hollis, 61, of Pompano Beach, Fla., and formerly of Philipsburg, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at his home.
Born Feb. 15, 1956, he was the son of Francis H. and Jane B. (Blasko) Hollis of Philipsburg. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
He was a retired electrician and a 1974 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
He started his career working at Clearfield Furs & Taxidermy. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Penn State games and visiting the dog park with his two dogs Gracie and Bullet.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Janine Brungart and her husband, Tim and Annette James and her husband, Patrick, all of Philipsburg, and two brothers, Gerald Hollis and his wife, Lucy of La Mirada, Calif., and Daniel Hollis and his wife, Dawn of Etters.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Landin Hollis and his wife, Kristin, Logan Hollis, Aaron James, Kyra James and Jalyn James.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas as celebrant. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
There will be no public visitation.
