MORRIS TOWNSHIP – A 36-year-old Philipsburg man’s death has been ruled a homicide, according to Clearfield County Chief Deputy Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder.
Shaffer-Snyder said that an autopsy determined that Brett M. Bamat died from a gunshot wound to the chest around 8:35 p.m. Monday at a Bass Lane address in Morris Township.
No further information is available at this time. State police at Clearfield are continuing their investigation.
