Ruth Miller, 87, a resident of Country View Manor, Quarryville, and formerly of Morrisdale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at the home.
Born in 1930, she was the daughter of the late Guy J. and Mildred (Beamer) Rougeux of Frenchville. In 1950, she married the late John (Jack) Miller of Drifting.
Surviving are her son, Ron Miller and his wife, Karen of Clarksburg, Md.; her daughter, Jennifer Kirk and her husband, John of New Providence; her grandchildren, Emily, Alaina and Ian Kirk of New Providence; her brother, Donald Rougeux of Louisville, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded by a brother, Willard (Bill) Rougeux of Louisville, Ky.
She had attended Clearfield Schools and her career included employment with the former General Cigar, Philipsburg, and the West Branch School District. She enjoyed her dogs, going for drives and chatting with friends.
Family and friends are welcome for graveside memorial service to be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Messiah Baptist Cemetery with Father David J. Perry officiating.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to, Clearfield SPCA, 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
