CLEARFIELD – Students in the culinary arts and food management program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) have been planning and organizing the opening of The Culinary Café.
The Culinary Café is located at the CCCTC (1620 River Rd., Clearfield) and is open to the public. The café is staffed and operated by students as part of their vocational education.
This prepares them for real world experiences and also for the transition into the work world if that is what they choose to do after graduating the culinary arts program.
The students conduct inventory, stock items, plan the menu and prep the food items before each menu comes out.
The cafe will open on Oct. 31, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There will be a new menu every Monday.
