CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Chamber of Commerce recently held its annual awards banquet and has announced the award recipients.
Shining Star Award
Nominees: CBT Bank, a division of Riverview; Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. (CAST); and Neeper’s Sweet Treats
Winner: CAST Inc.
CAST Inc. was chosen based upon the physical improvements made to its existing building over the past year, as well upon how it continues to add value to the community.

Small Business of the Year Award
Nominees: Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority (CCRTA); Thompson & Buck; and Knickerbocker Villa
Winner: Thompson & Buck
Thompson & Buck employs less than 50 people. It has been in business for at least five years and supports the Clearfield Chamber and the community.

Major Employer of the Year Award
Nominees: Pennsylvania Grain Processing (PGP), TMP/Tafco, CBT Bank, a division of Riverview; and Appalachian Wood Products
Winner: TMP/Tafco
TMP/Tafco employs more than 50 people. It has been in business at least 10 years and supports the Clearfield Chamber and the community.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Nominees: Martha Tylwalk and C. Alan Walker
Winners: Martha Tylwalk and C. Alan Walker
Both are exceptional individuals with accomplishments that include community involvement and public service over an entire lifetime.

Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award
Nominees: Tim Winters; Tommy Sankey; and Jack Woolridge
Winner: Jack Woolridge
Woolridge is an individual whose accomplishments place them above their peers. He is community-minded and does not seek recognition. Woolridge’s major accomplishments have also come within the past two years.
