CLEARFIELD – Downtown Clearfield has been decorated with scarecrows for the fall season.
The scarecrow decorations are thanks to the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) and its Main Street Program’s Promotion and Design Committee.
This year, the CRC also partnered with students from the Clearfield Area School District.
The scarecrows were delivered by the Clearfield Area School District for the Design and Promotion Committee volunteers to place in downtown Clearfield to decorate the street lamps.
Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner commented that, “Together, we have created an inviting and seasonal atmosphere downtown and it was a total team effort.”
Wagner thanked the committee volunteers, the Clearfield Area School District and its students and the many other people who made the fall decorations possible.
Wagner said the CRC is already looking forward to collaborating again next year. She added that downtown is “one step closer” to the Clearfield Fall Festival on Oct. 14.
Wagner reminded festival-goers to cast their vote for their favorite scarecrow at the CRC booth.
