ValJean Weaver, 77, of DuBois died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 at the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois.
Born July 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jocelyn (LaBenne) Marshall.
On Aug. 23, 1958, she married Harry E. Weaver, who preceded her in death July 2, 2003.
She retired from the dietary department at the DuBois Hospital after 22 years of service.
She enjoyed baking, cooking and most importantly, spending time with her family.
She is survived by five children, Jeffrey Weaver, Peggy Schreiber and her husband, Ricky and Gordon Weaver and his wife, Carrie, all of DuBois, Tracy Huntington and her husband Randy of Reynoldsville and Edith Muir and her husband, William of Treasure Lake.
She is also survived by one brother, Fred Marshall and his wife, Fran of DuBois; two sisters, Ceilann Laird of DuBois and Myra Clark of Erie; eight grandchildren, Bridget, Randy Jr., Andrew, Lacy, Ashley, Derek, CJ and Aimee; three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Baylee and Rylee; and another soon-expected great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Marshall.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
