Daniel Joseph “Dan” Williams, 47, of Philipsburg died Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Aug. 5, 1970 in Clearfield, a son of Ottis W. and Elda M. (Maines) Williams, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a 1988 graduate of Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School. He was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and baseball in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ottis “Butch” Williams Jr. and Jon “BeBe” A. Williams, in addition to his parents.
He is survived by two sisters, Cynthia E. Williams of Philipsburg and Annette I. Martell and her husband, Ray of Frenchville; two brothers, David E. Williams of Clearfield and Edward A. Williams of Atlantic, RD Houtzdale; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
