Monnabelle Edna (Coble) Youstic, 89, of Lanse went to be with the Lord at her daughter Cynthia’s home in Lanse on Sept. 25, 2017.
Born April 21, 1928 in Kylertown, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Mildred Welker Coble.
On Nov. 26, 1945, she married Alex Youstic, who preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1973.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Kephart and her husband, Cleve of Lanse and her sons, Alex Youstic II (Butch) and his wife, Rose of Cary, NC, Anthony Youstic and his wife, Virginia and Kris Youstic and his wife, Robin, both of Kylertown, and Paul Youstic of Newark, Del.
She’s also survived by her sisters, Sarah Cerifko and her husband, Mike of Chambersburg, Mary Kephart and her husband, Sharon of Woodland, Leenora Knepp and her husband, Bill of Clearfield and Helen Donley of Julian; her brothers, Willard Coble of Clearfield and Edwin Coble and his wife, Violetta of Philipsburg; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Youstic; an infant grandson, Jonathan Michael Youstic; a sister, June Irwin; and brothers, Gilbert, Thomas, Mahlon and Theodore Coble.
She was of the Catholic faith and attended the Protestant faith. She was the owner/operator of the former Route 53 Auction Barn, Kylertown-Drifting Highway, and she had been a seamstress for Navasky & Co., Philipsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale. Burial will be in Messiah Baptist Cemetery, Lanse.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
