State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Saturday on Goodrow Lane in Bradford Township. During the incident, a Woodland man was “worshiping on his loud speakers while using profanities” with children nearby. State police seized the man’s loud speakers to prevent future incidents. Charges were filed through the district court.
State police at Dubois
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Thursday on Beechwood Road in Washington Township. During the incident, a male and female were inside the victim’s residence and allegedly took his wallet. State police say they took $200 in cash and an ignition key for a 1998 Subaru before discarding the remaining contents near the intersection of Rockdale and Beechwood roads. Those contacts were located and returned to the victim. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary/theft that occurred Saturday or Sunday on Pardus Road in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victims’ property and removed a revolver and leather holster. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of access device fraud that occurred Sept. 14 on Steele Hollow Road in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly made fraudulent charges on the victim’s credit card account. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred between Sept. 20 and Thursday on Pruner Street in Osceola Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s vehicle and removed a wallet. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-371-3370.
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Saturday at Weis Market in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 38-year-old Clearfield woman allegedly attempted to take $139.70 worth of items without paying. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Halfmoon Valley Road in Halfmoon Township. A third-party contacted state police about his roommates who had been arguing all night and then left the residence on foot. Troopers made contact with them and found the victim – a 25-year-old woman – had been pushed during the dispute. State police cited a known 25-year-old man for the incident through the district court.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police reported a DUI/drug incident that occurred Thursday in the 500 block of West Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney Borough. According to state police, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle operated by an 18-year-old Punxsutawney man for a summary violation. He was allegedly determined to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. State police say he was also in possession of a controlled substance. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday or Sunday on Boyer Avenue in Young Township. According to state police, a known juvenile was involved in an accident with the victim’s car and was unable to move it. The juvenile left the car and went back the next day to get it. Upon return, it was found that someone had allegedly busted out two windows. State police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
Clearfield Borough
- Police arrested a male for allegedly driving under the influence after he was stopped along West Front Street for committing a traffic violation.
- An ATM card was turned into police after it was located. Police were able to make contact with the owner and return the card.
- A male was arrested by police for public intoxication after he was reportedly observed stumbling along Bigler Avenue. The male was transported to the jail due to his level of intoxication.
- Police received a report about a disturbance involving a male and female along East Market Street. The male allegedly shoved the female to the ground during the altercation. Charges were filed against the male through the district court.
- Police were requested to assist with a female who was intoxicated and causing a problem for emergency personnel on Bridge Street. According to police, the female took prescription drugs and became incoherent. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.
- Police received a report about suspicious vehicles on River Road. Upon arrival, police did not locate anything suspicious.
- Police responded to the Clearfield Riverwalk area for a reported altercation between a male and female. Police searched the area and were unable to locate them.
- Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, and the driver had several warrants.
- Police assisted a motorist along North Second Street whose vehicle became disabled and would not run.
- Police responded to East 10th Street for a child who had locked themselves inside the residence. Police were able to gain entry into the residence.
- Police received a report about an altercation between a male and female on East Market Street. According to the male, the female made threats toward him. Police were able to handle the situation at the scene.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along Turnpike Avenue.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a fire at Lawrence Park Village.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an illegal dumping that occurred at a local business on Daisy Street Extension. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an intoxicated male at the Sapp Bros. Truck Street. He was attempting to hitch hike. He was taken into custody and put in county jail.
- Police received a report about a homeless male at Family Dollar on South Second Street. He was taken to the Clearfield Men’s Shelter.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm at the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
- Police received a report about a disorder on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway. However, it dispersed before police arrival at the scene.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway. It resulted in a driver being arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault that occurred on Washington Avenue.
- Police received a report about a stop sign that was down in the area of a construction zone on Route 879.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about a tree down on Martin Street Extension.
DuBois City
- While on routine patrol, police witnessed a gray Dodge Journey being driven erratically on DuBois Street. Police subsequently conducted a traffic stop and allegedly determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest and charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about an activated residential alarm in the 200 block of South State Street. Upon arrival to the scene, police made contact with the owner and found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Upon arrival to the scene, police made contact with the manager, found out everything was OK and that it was set off by accident.
Decatur Township
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call. However, police found it wasn’t anything criminal in nature.
- Police received a report about a possible attempted child abduction.
- Police received a report about a motorist driving under the influence at a local establishment. However, the motorist was gone upon police arrival.
