Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment. During the incident, a female was allegedly sending a male unwanted text messages.
- Police assisted several motorists who had locked their keys inside their vehicles.
- Police received a report about a fraudulent check. According to police, it was sent to a female to purchase an item that she had for sale. The check amount exceeded her asking price; she was directed to forward the extra cash. Police confirmed it was a fraudulent check.
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call along South Second Street. However, police searched the area and could not locate anyone.
- Police reported that syringes were located in a storm drain along South Sixth Street. Police were able to dispose of the syringes.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with an incident along Fire Tower Road.
- Police received a report about possible gunshots on Daisy Street. Police searched the area and determined it was firecrackers.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle that was blocking traffic on Cemetery Road. Upon arrival, police assisted with traffic control until a towing company arrived and removed the vehicle.
- Police checked on a suspicious vehicle along Nichols Street and determined it was disabled.
Lawrence Township
- Police assisted emergency personnel at a Robinson Avenue residence.
- Police conducted a warrant service at The Discovery House. A male was subsequently housed in county jail on the warrants.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle on Fire Tower Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by deception involving counterfeit currency at a local business on Route 879.
- Police conducted a traffic stop at a local business. The driver allegedly became disorderly with police and resisted arrest; he was taken into custody and housed in county jail.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male on River Road. He was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. He was cited for public intoxication and released to a sober relative.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a disorderly patient at the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday a Treasure Lake man reported to police that his 40-year-old son had left the house the night before and had not returned. He stated his son had recent health issues, and he was concerned for his well-being. Police say a be-on-the-look-out alert was issued for the man, and he was located in good condition the next morning.
- On Thursday police reported that a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old DuBois woman was stopped in the turning lane at the intersection of the Bee Line Highway and Industrial Drive. Her vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Big Run woman. Minor damage and injuries were reported to police.
- On Thursday police reported that a 22-year-old Falls Creek woman reported that while her Dodge Ram was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot, someone scratched it. Police are continuing their investigation.
- On Thursday employees of Dollar General reported to police that a known 81-year-old man took candy from the store without paying for it. Police are continuing their investigation.
