CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. (CAST) has once again started rehearsals for two of its most popular programs.
The Clearfield Choral Society has rehearsals Sunday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at CAST. All singers age 14 years and older are welcome to join.
This group sings many different styles of music, and it performs several concerts each season.
Mason Strouse directs the group and Catherine Mandell is assistant director, with Gary Wilsoncroft serving as accompanist.
Each participant is asked to pay a fee of $15 to help cover the cost of music. All music is provided. New members are accepted through Oct. 1.
The High Voltage Youth Show Choir has rehearsals on Sundays from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at CAST.
Kids in second through sixth grades are invited to join this energetic group that usually prepares a short show each season, and performs for family, friends and community members at CAST and for other events.
This group is directed by Rachel Duke with Mason Strouse assisting. Each participant is asked to pay a fee of $20, which covers music expenses and allows each child to receive a T-shirt. New members are accepted through Oct. 1.
