State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Sept. 10 at CVS Pharmacy in Philipsburg. During the incident, a 32-year-old Morrisdale woman entered the store empty handed and allegedly left with a 12-pack of Bounty paper towels in her cart without paying for it.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Wednesday at Wal-Mart in Young Township. During the incident, a male suspect allegedly stole various items, including a laptop and tablet, from Wal-Mart. State police say he deprived the store of more than $400 worth of merchandise. - Police assisted emergency personnel with a fall patient along NW Fourth Avenue.
- Police received a report about a male who tried to harm himself on West Pine Street. Upon arrival, police assisted until emergency personnel were at the scene and took him to the hospital.
- Police received a report about debris causing a traffic hazard on South Fourth Street. Upon arrival, police removed the debris.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle with occupants who were traveling around to sell candy bars on Elm Avenue. However, the vehicle was gone prior to police arrival.
- Police are investigating a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police handled several parking complaints and violations.
- Police are investigating an alleged burglary that was reported along South Fourth Street.
- Police reported that a vehicle was struck along Williams Street, and the vehicle fled the area. Police responded and were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Police responded to the area parks for complaints about juveniles being disorderly.
- Police were advised of a disabled vehicle along North Third Street. Police say that the vehicle was off the roadway and not a hazard.
