State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sept. 6 at an Empire Road residence in Morris Township. During the incident, a 41-year-old male allegedly backed up a vehicle into the victim’s fence, breaking multiple boards. He then fled the scene.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass that occurred Saturday on Peppermint Lane in Huston Township. Upon arrival, a Julian couple was allegedly located in the area. Charges were filed through the district court.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Friday at Wal-Mart in Young Township. According to state police, the victim left his wallet in a shopping cart. He then left the store. State police say the wallet was turned into the store; however, his driver’s license and debit card were missing. State police are continuing their investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Punxsutawney barracks at 814-938-0510.
- State police reported on a drug-related DUI incident that occurred Friday on Main Street in Burnside Borough. According to state police, a 53-year-old Glen Campbell man was stopped for a traffic violation. He was allegedly found to be under the influence and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Aug. 20 on Walston Road in Young Township. According to state police, a vehicle operated by a 40-year-old Punxsutawney man was stopped after a traffic violation. He was allegedly determined to be under the influence. Charges are pending through the district court.
- State police reported on a fire that occurred Sunday on Frostburgh Road in Perry Township. According to state police, a two-story home suffered extensive interior damage. It started in the basement due to an overheating electrical wire. Damage is estimated at $60,000, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported on a drug-related incident that occurred Thursday at the intersection of Routes 153 and 219 in Horton Township. According to state police, a vehicle operated by 20-year-old Ridgway man was stopped for a code violation. Upon investigation, he was allegedly found to have marijuana and paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday on Route 255 in Fox Township. According to state police, a 45-year-old Winburne woman was stopped for speeding. Upon further investigation, she was allegedly found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted a motorist with a flat tire along Nichols Street.
- Police are investigating a report about an alleged theft from a Daisy Street resident.
- Police responded to an activated alarm along South Front Street. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a set of lost keys.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along East Market Street.
- Police responded to South Park in an attempt to locate a dog that ran away from its residence. However, police were unable to locate it.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a reported disturbance on Shaw Street.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run that occurred along Nichols Street. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
- Police received a report about trespassing from a Bigler Avenue resident. During the incident, a male was allegedly at the residence earlier and not welcomed there.
- Police responded to a noise complaint on Daisy Street. However, police didn’t locate anything upon arrival to the scene.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a child on West Front Street. Upon arrival, police found the child in the custody of their parents.
- Police attempted to locate a reported suspicious male on East Cherry Street. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the male.
- Police received a report about people trespassing at a residence that was unoccupied on East Pine Street. Upon arrival, police found that neighbors accessed the residence, as there was a water leak inside and the owner was not at home.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident along East Market Street. According to police, a car pulled from an alley, striking another vehicle. Police say that one driver was transported for medical treatment, and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a Turnpike Avenue resident.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident on the Clearfield-Glen Richey Highway and Antis Hill Road.
- Police received a report about an offender who possibly failed to register under Megan’s Law.
- Police received a report about a possible missing person in the Edgewood area. The female was located, according to police.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle on Bowman’s Hill Road. Upon making contact the occupants, police allegedly found they were consuming alcohol. It resulted in an underage consumption violation as well as another related to furnishing alcohol to a minor.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with checking the welfare of a person in the area of Lawrence Avenue.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency in the area of Shaw Street.
- Police received a report about a domestic incident in the Edgewood area.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft in Edgewood.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile in the Turnpike Avenue area. The juvenile was located a short time after the report, according to police.
- Police received a traffic complaint in the area of River Road.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of Route 879.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief in the Edgewood area.
- Police received a report about a motor vehicle accident at a local business on Route 879.

Decatur Township
- Police responded to a report of a vehicle accident involving a bear on Route 53 between Osceola Mills and Houtzdale. No injuries were reported as a result.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft involving a known female. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call from a business in Philipsburg. However, police found it wasn’t anything criminal in nature.
- Police received a report about a “domestic situation” involving an alleged sexual assault.
- Police received a report about reckless driving in the area of Dunlap’s Auto Repair.
Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police received a report about an incident of theft from a Hawk Run resident. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a military statute depicting a solider carrying another solider. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-765-1533.
- Police arrested a Philipsburg resident for simple assault and harassment after an alleged domestic incident in the Carpathian Club parking lot. They were then arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Pat Ford.
- Police received a report about a theft from a Morrisdale resident. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a .38-caliber hand gun. Police have persons of interest who are being questioned; the investigation is continuing at this time.
- Police received a report about child abuse from a Munson resident. During the incident, a juvenile was allegedly slapped in the arm by an adult. Children & Youth Services personnel were contacted about the incident, which is still under investigation at this time.
- During a traffic stop, police determined the driver was wanted for an outstanding traffic warrant. They were released from the scene after it was decided to have them report to the magistrate’s office on Monday morning.
DuBois City
- Police were flagged down by a female who reported a male had been walking down the alley and hitting and kicking over safety cones. Police made contact with the male who admitted he was upset and knocked them over. He was directed by police to pick up the cones, which he did.
- Police received a report about a fight in progress on North Main Street. A male was allegedly fighting, using profanities and kicking pedestrian crosswalk signs. Police made contact with him on the corner of Long Avenue and Main Street. He was subsequently identified as Ed Livingston due to dealing with him as part of a previous incident. He allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol on his person. Livingston was cited for public intoxication and transported to county jail.
- Police arrested a 27-year-old DuBois man, Andrew M. Godak, on Saturday on charges of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, receiving stolen property and criminal contempt. He allegedly threatened a male with a gun in the 200 block of Clinton Avenue. Police also found that Godak had a protection from abuse order against him, and he wasn’t to possess a firearm. Godak is currently housed in county jail.
