Dorothy L. Kelichner, 86, of Stump Creek died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born May 25, 1931 in East Branch, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mary V. (Frantz) Kramer.
On Dec. 21, 1948, she married Edward L. Kelichner. He preceded her in death Feb. 2, 2002.
She was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville for 52 years.
She enjoyed gardening, playing “Up Words,” going shopping and eating at Burger King.
She is survived by five daughters, Patty Roush and her husband, Terry of Northeast and Mary Kelichner, Debbie Dixon, Kathy Kelichner and Phyllis Smeal and her husband, Allen, all of Stump Creek; two brothers, Clyde Kramer and his wife, Marie of Stump Creek and Leonard Kramer of Punxsutawney; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Martha Zimmerman, Leota Kramer, Mary Frantz and Luella Kelichner and a brother, Eugene Kramer.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Kevin Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
